There are over 50 different Traditions in Crusader Kings 3, each with a different purpose, whether it’s improving your empire, strengthening your military, boosting your economy, or even faith. With so many options, it can be hard to pick the right one. That’s why I’ve put together a complete Traditions tier list for CK3.
Best Lifestyle? Lifestyle Focus Tier List for Crusader Kings 3
I've divided each tradition into five levels, from S-level (the best) to D-level (the worst).
These are the best traditions in Crusader Kings 3, and you should prioritize unlocking them above all others. Depending on the type of tradition, these can provide a strong economic, cultural, or even militaristic boost that can help you get ahead of other empires. For example, the Eastern Roman Legacy tradition can reduce your Men-At-Arms cost by 30% while increasing your maximum Men-At-Arms regiment by +2, giving you a huge boost in military capabilities.
Unless you have other specific needs in your empire, you should prioritize these traditions over all others. I usually prefer to unlock the Industrious tradition first to get a +25% Development boost in the early game, culminating in a strong economic backup in the late game.
