Social audio app Clubhouse is introducing Music Mode, giving musicians performing live on the app new tools to optimize sound quality.

According to a post on the Clubhouse blog, users will also be able to use their professional audio gear on the app, such as mixers or a USB microphone. In addition to the feature, search functionality is getting an upgrade to make it easier to find specific creators.
Music Mode is added as a new option found under the Audio Quality menu. The mode enables high-quality stereo sound, regardless of whether headphones or speakers are used.
This stereo audio support has also been added to the Clips feature, so that the high quality in the clips remains the same. The music mode will come to iOS first and then to Android devices.
