CMF, Nothing’s budget and design-focused sub-brand, debuted last year with a smartwatch and a pair of earbuds. Now we have the successors to those two products and a new budget-friendly smartphone.
Is there a reason to pay more? – CMF Buds Pro 2
The Buds Pro 2 are priced at $59 and come with improved sound quality and Active Noise Cancellation. While there aren’t many changes to the buds’ design, the case does feature a new physical dial that can be used to control volume, ANC, and activate voice assistants.
On the other hand, there’s the $69 Watch Pro 2, a direct sequel to the CMF Watch Pro. Compared to the Watch Pro’s square design, the new version is round and also comes with a bezel-swappable design. The smartwatch doesn’t run a full-featured OS like Apple’s watchOS or Google’s Wear OS. However, it comes with most of the commonly used smartwatch features like alarms, timers, health tracking, etc., with a special emphasis on fitness and battery life.
Some bells and whistles include tracking support for 120+ sports modes and 100+ watch faces (though you can’t install new ones). The smartwatch also features a built-in microphone and speaker for phone calls, and the watch’s crown rotates to control its various functions.
