One fan wanted to create one of the most iconic Call of Duty icons in the franchise: the Zombies Mystery Box.
Reddit user 1hga1 spent some time handcrafting the Mystery Box, complete with a jack-in-the-box-style wind-up mechanism and excellent spooky music. The small wooden box has all the features you'd expect from a Mystery Box, including engraved lettering along the sides and the iconic question marks on the lid. It's a masterful piece of craftsmanship, but that's not all this Mystery Box has to offer.
As they turn the handle and the music plays I am transported back to the old days, riding a zombie train through Der Riese, or Pack-A-Punch-ing the M1911 on Kino Der Toten and spending late nights at school with friends. Great memories. Once the lid opens, a surprise awaits inside.
