Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that Modern Warfare 3's new Kar98k is getting a nerf, following a rocky and underwhelming launch for the returning sniper rifle.

Sledgehammer added the Kar98k on May 29th when Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 went live. The Kar98k was notoriously one of the most powerful weapons in Modern Warfare 2019 and the original Warzone, and players were annoyed to find that the weapon was back with a vengeance in MW3 Season 4.
