CoD Champs wrapped up the 2024 Call of Duty League season last month, but there’s one more MW3 tournament left before we officially move on to Black Ops 6: the Esports World Cup.
Analysis of the Modern Warfare 3 tournament at the Esports World Cup
The MW3 EWC gives competitive CoD fans one last chance to see some of their favorite teams battle it out before Rostermania officially kicks off. 16 teams, including 11 CDL franchises, some of which will compete under their non-location-based names, will battle for their share of the $1.8 million prize pool when the tournament takes place in Saudi Arabia from August 15-18.
There is no official schedule published yet for the MW3 EWC, but we do know all the entry lists and the groups they will play in. The hope is that they will reach the play-offs with direct elimination.
If you want to watch the tournament, there are plenty of streams available across multiple platforms and in multiple languages, according to the official Esports World Cup website. For English fans, all the action can be caught on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
