The release of Concord is slowly looming over the horizon and we already know what the developers have planned for post-launch. The Concord roadmap has been revealed ahead of the game’s worldwide release and we’re here to show you.
Concord – Official Developer Overview Video 'Launch and the Adventure Ahead'
In a blog post detailing the game and its upcoming release, Sony shared what the developers have in store. Kicking off in October is Concord's Season One, which should include a new Freegunner, map, variants, quality-of-life additions, cosmetics, rewards, and vignettes. The first season will also see the launch of a full-on store where players can purchase additional customizations for their characters and weapons.
Season two, set to launch in January 2025, will feature more of the same, while the rest of the year should see regular seasons and content drops. Specifics on what will come as part of these seasons aren’t yet available, and we’ll have to wait a while longer until the game can actually launch and run to find out exactly what content will be included. What is certain is that Sony appears committed to keeping Concord going for at least the first year after launch, with longer updates likely dependent on how well the game is received.
Concord is targeting an August 20th launch for players who own the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, while the rest of the public will have to wait an additional three days and can play the game from August 23rd.
