There have been many questions surrounding the pricing model of the new Firewalk Studios hero shooter Concord, but observant players may have already found the answer today, ahead of pre-orders starting on June 6.

PlayStation Store now lists Concord—both the standard and digital deluxe editions—as available for pre-order (in Australia), along with a revealing price: $59.95 AUD (roughly $40 USD). With June 6th dawning for Aussies, eager gamers there can pre-order the shooter now, while those overseas will have to wait a few more hours.

The $40 standard edition includes the base game, but the $94.95 AUD (about $60 USD) deluxe edition also comes with three days of early access, 16 cosmetic skins, and the Monarch Pack — a unique skin for Vale and a weapon skin for Dead Reckoner. Access to the game before its August launch is the deluxe version’s big selling point, but all players will be able to try out Concord via a yet-to-be-announced beta.

The hero shooter genre has quickly become cluttered with hopeful titles following the release of Overwatch 2, with many heavyweight studios and publishers vying for a piece of the juicy pie. Concord’s payment model appears to mirror that of Helldivers 2, with mentions of new characters and content arriving each week “at no additional cost”, though it’s highly likely that the Freegunners will have to be unlocked via quests or with in-game currency.
