Corki and Tristana dominate high-ranking games in League of Legends while also being immensely popular in pro play. Now Riot Games is finally investigating them and possibly working on changes.

Matt "Phroxzon" Leung-Harrison shared a few notes on his X profile on July 7 regarding potential changes to Corki and Tristana in League. The lead gameplay dev explained how specific ranks and pro play have become "boring" due to the duo's popularity, saying that the team is investigating what changes they can make to fix the issue.
"High MMR and Pro have become quite boring lately due to these champions. AD champions mid have been prioritized through some intentional shifts in opening up the champions you can pick in AP Jungle. We felt this was necessary to bolster role diversity and improve the health of the jungle role," Phroxzon wrote.
"We'll be looking at any necessary systemic adjustments (absorb life, ap jungle tuning, etc.) and potential champion adjustments," he added. He didn't say when the changes would arrive or what they might look like. With Patch 14.14 due out next week on July 17, that's the earliest we could expect them.
