Looking for a Gaming Cabinet with RGB effect and one that doesn’t break your budget for mid-range builds is a tricky one. Here I’m considering two primary aspects, firstly a mid-range tower that may or may not have enough room to fit three cards in but is ideal for a single GPU Gaming setup including room for a single fan liquid cooler. A bit of style and sturdiness are also important. While looking around at different cases I’m quite flattered by the Corsair 175R for three simple reasons. Firstly it’s affordable, secondly it’s brand specific and thirdly it’s not very big or very small. The size is just perfect, it has a dedicated section for PSU and storage, the RGB Corsair logo on the front is cool.

I wouldn't recommend going for the Corsair 175R if you're planning on adding three GPUs and a larger liquid cooler in the future, as it's going to be a tight squeeze with a full-sized ATX motherboard. However, the Corsair 175R is an excellent case not only for gaming, but also for a regular PC. If you're thinking of building a PC for learning, video editing, the Corsair 175R will make your desk look pretty cool. It's a minimalist case with some clever tweaks, I really don't expect more from the Corsair 175R at this price point.

Corsair 175R has a removable front panel with Corsair logo and RGB fan on the back. There is a transparent Tempered Glass panel on the left side that feels like plastic when you hold it, very light and clean. I am pretty sure it will not break easily if dropped, compared to other cases that give you a full glass transparent panel where a little bit of caution is required. Corsair 175R is a simple case, remove four screws on the sides and the panel is out. No sliding, on the back there are removable panels for installing a graphics card, no need to break it, which in other cases leaves a permanently open area.

At the bottom, the Corsair 175R has a slot for the PSU and a storage area for a regular 2.5” or 3.5” hard drive. This slot is divided by a fixed frame that completely separates the motherboard and GPU from the power supply. It seems that Corsair added it to make it look cleaner and gives a different feel. At the bottom, a section is taken up by the PSU, while the hard drive panel at the front is removable with sliding sockets. You can fit two 2.5” or 3.5” hard drives on it. But I only received one sliding socket, hopefully there are two in the package.
