When you unbox the Equinox Kronos wireless headphones, you’ll find a few accessories included. First off, you’ll find a yellow hard carrying case. You’ll also find a USB Type-C charging cable, Type-C wireless dongle, USB Type-C to Type-A converter, and a microphone cushion in the box. You’ll also get a headset, 3.5mm audio cable, and a user manual. These wireless headphones are compatible with Windows, Xbox models, PS4, PS5, mobile devices, and tablets. So compatibility is pretty much covered for most devices.

As soon as I turned on the headset and paired the dongle to my device, I got the prompt “Connected” within a second. So I liked the quick connectivity and the build. But there are several factors to consider. Let’s start with the design and build.

First the good stuff! The ear pads of the headphones felt premium and comfortable. As mentioned, the Protein leather and memory foam had an excellent vibe. Although without the conditioning, this protein leather will start to peel and crack unexpectedly. But that is the case with almost all headphones.
