Destiny 2's newest mode, Onslaught, has been well-received by Guardians following the Into the Light update. Onslaught is simple: kill enemies, drop batteries into the base, and earn rewards. But a few smart players have discovered an unintended interaction with the batteries that has made life much easier.
10 Relic Dupes in Onslaught – Fast Battery ADU Heal and Scrap Glitch
Instead of throwing ADU batteries into the ADU, you can also throw them at the defenses you’ve helped build. And if they’re damaged, repair them. A clip of the interaction from Twitch streamer Onpam was shared on April 13, and it’s already been getting some attention from the community. Even better: the battery is collectible, meaning that with enough time, you can use one battery to repair all of your defenses before dropping it in the ADU for that all-important scrap.
In the clip, Onpam defeats a Saboteur and picks up the battery he drops, and they bring it to one of the damaged Decoys on the other side of the map. Onpam throws the battery at the decoy and it stops blinking, indicating that it's repaired and ready for the next round. Onpam picks up the battery and deposits it in the ADU as usual.
The big problem that many players faced was saving the scrap for a level three upgrade, only to have it destroyed and reset to level one. Now, you can keep your defenses sharp and ready with full health during the new Destiny 2 activity.
