The Sims 2: University was the first expansion pack for the life simulation video game The Sims 2. Released by EA in 2005, it had characters attend university and earn a degree, then move on to one of four graduate-only careers. Most young Sims who attend school start out in a dorm. Dorms are inexpensive because there are no costs involved in moving into one, and the bills are usually quite low once the properties in the dorm have had time to depreciate.

While The Sims 2: University does include a collection of template dorms in a variety of sizes, that just isn’t enough if you’re a gamer who loves to customize. With that in mind, we’ve rounded up a few cheats to help you build the dorm of your virtual dreams.
Cheats are entered from the cheat screen. You can get there with the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+C.
To edit an existing dorm, enter the lot you want to edit and open the cheat screen. Type exactly what you see below. Note that there are three spaces here so that you enter the cheat correctly.
