Cult of the Lamb-Goat EXPLAINED

There are three different types of hearts in Cult of the Lamb, ranging from the standard Red Heart which provides basic health, to a temporary Blue Heart which can boost your health for a specific crusade. A Diseased Heart, on the other hand, is one of the more useful pick-ups as you continue your journey, as it can mean the difference between life and death.

Here's everything you need to know about the diseased heart in Cult of the Lamb.

A Diseased Heart is a form of health that works similarly to Blue Hearts, only lasting until the end of that specific crusade. Unlike Red Hearts, Diseased Hearts and Blue Hearts are lost forever and cannot be regenerated through normal means such as a Heart Container. As a result, they are much more valuable to hold onto while running through a dungeon.
