Cursor Jumps While Typing in Windows 10 – Fix
So I recently ran into a weird issue where my mouse pointer/cursor would randomly jump around the screen, making it impossible for me to type anything! I had never had this issue before, but when I upgraded my Acer laptop to Windows 7 64-bit, this issue with the cursor flying all over the screen started happening.
Anyway, after some playing around with various things, I got my touchpad and cursor under control and it was working normally again. A few friends told me that they had similar problems but had to resort to other solutions to solve the problem. In this article, I will try to list all the different methods that you can try to solve it.
If you are using a touchpad on a laptop and are experiencing this problem, the best thing to do is to first download the latest driver for the touchpad from the manufacturer's website. Note that you should choose the one that is compatible with your version of Windows (7/8/10, 32 or 64-bit).
