The default login information (discussed above) for the DIR-600 is set by the manufacturer and is used when the router is first installed. However, it is a good idea to change this information so that it is more difficult for someone to make changes to the router.
When changing the default username and password for the DIR-600, you will need to remember a new set of login credentials in place of these default credentials. If you do not know the new credentials, reset the D-Link DIR-600 router to factory defaults, which will return the username and password to the default settings.
