Days Gone is certainly not a zombie apocalypse game; at least that’s what the developers are trying to make everyone believe, but it is certainly a strange game. Zombies or humans infected with a virus called freakers are plaguing the United States of America, and you are stuck in the middle of the state of Oregon. A rugged biker who sets out into the virus-infested world to find answers about his wife who dies in the midst of this phenomenon.
300 ZOMBIES Vs ME 😱 Days Gone ZOMBIE HORDE Gameplay
Days Gone has you travelling around a vast open world on your trusty motorbike, which you can upgrade and customise to your liking. The constant upgrades mean that you’ll be grinding for loot and parts all over the map, and this is where things start to go wrong, as the long, boring hours spent doing so will leave you wishing you were doing something better. There’s plenty to customise and craft as you progress through the game, and if you’re a fan of stealth mission-style games then this one will appeal to you.
You must search for answers to the question of your wife's death while traveling around the map and talking to numerous NPCs. Every time you progress through the game, you collect bits of information. The game manages to keep your attention, but it feels like the game is too long-winded and you start to get tired after a while.
Only after you've spent a few hours in the game will you start to understand it. And with characters like Boozer, who entertain you with some touching moments throughout the story, you'll find that the game starts to make sense.
