There have been a few modifiers in Dead by Daylight so far, but none have been as fun and engaging as Chaos Shuffle (a perk randomizer). It's no surprise that fans want Behaviour Interactive (BHVR) to make it a permanent mode.
New Chaos Shuffle mode is fun!
There are two different types of special events in DBD: modifiers and modes. Modifiers are time-limited events that change certain aspects of the base game (such as darkening the map, randomizing perks, etc.). Modes, on the other hand, completely reorganize the entire game, adding new mechanics and gameplay.
The most anticipated mode in DBD is 2v8, which is rumored to be coming to the mist in July. We already know that this mode will return regularly as an event with more upgrades and iterations. However, when it comes to modifiers, they have only been one-offs so far.
To be honest, none of the other modifiers were all that fun until Chaos Shuffle. Since it went live, I haven’t touched normal mode. Of course, I’ve had pretty bad luck with my perk setups, usually getting Survivor perks that are either situational or don’t work together at all.
