Grades were introduced in the latest patch update for Dead by Daylight, replacing the old Ranks and forming a new reward system for each season in DBD.
Prestige 100 Once or Prestige All Killers Proportionate?
Grades come in five qualities and are divided into four tiers. Like ranks, ranks are numbered in reverse, with each quality ranging from Tier IV to Tier I, with Ash IV being the lowest grade and Iridescent I being the highest. Below are Dead by Daylight's new grade qualities and tiers, along with their rank numbers.

Grades are determined by the number of progression points (Pips) the player earns in a Ranking Season. Depending on the player's performance during Ranked Trials, Pips can be lost, gained, or remain at their current number.
