A common mechanic in roguelike and roguelite games is the Luck stat, which increases your chances of finding items, powers, and upgrades. Death Must Die is no different. Luck plays a huge role in your runs and can greatly impact your build depending on the god blessings you choose.

Death Must Die LOOT GUIDE!

You'll notice that your character doesn't have a Luck stat from the start. You can only get it by increasing your Luck with an item or by activating the Clover Garden during a run. Luck affects all chance-based effects of divine blessings, item spells, and objects, meaning that every time the description says "has a chance", your Luck percentage affects it.

Luck doesn't increase your chances of finding rare items, weaker enemies, or higher rarity divine blessings. So if you're not using any attack or item that requires chance, this stat isn't very useful. We recommend focusing on increasing your damage or speed instead of luck. But if you want to use this mechanic, be careful when raiding tombs. They curse you with a lower luck percentage.

Death Must Die is an indie game that feels a bit like Hades with a dash of Vampire Survivors. As with all roguelites, RNG elements like Luck are important to keep an eye on, especially when you get blessings like Vengeful Strike, Chains of War, and Combust.
