How to Install Deb Files on Ubuntu Linux

A file with the DEB file extension is a Debian software package file. They are primarily used in Unix-based operating systems, including Ubuntu and iOS.

Each DEB file consists of two TAR archives containing the executables, documentation and libraries. It may or may not be compressed with GZIP, BZIP2, LZMA or XZ.

Micro DEB files (.UDEB) are similar to this format and contain some, but not all, of the information contained in a normal DEB file.
