Like most home broadband routers, Belkin routers have password-protected admin screens. Routers are factory-set with default credentials. When you access the router’s home page using its IP address, you will be prompted to enter your username and password.

The default login credentials for a Belkin router vary by model. Not all Belkin routers use the same credentials, so you may have to try a few before you can get in. Try these:

Some Belkin routers use admin as the username, while others use Admin (with a capital A). Use the information above to try admin and admin, Admin and password, or log in without a username and password (if they are both blank).

However, chances are that your Belkin router either does not have a default username, or it uses admin. Most Belkin routers do not ship with passwords from the factory.
