Thin, light, flat keyboard, invisible trackpad, small screen bezels: in terms of design, Dell outdoes Apple.
The most beautiful laptop from Dell // Dell XPS 13 Plus!
The XPS 13 is Dell’s Ultrabook, the generic name for MacBook Air-like computers. But the 2022 XPS 13 is anything but generic. Its bezels are thin, and there’s no camera notch. The keyboard is recessed into the chassis, and the trackpad seems to—at first glance—have disappeared. It even has a Touch Bar, which Dell absolutely does not call a Touch Bar. What happened?
"Albert Einstein once said, 'Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler,'" technology and design author Ryan Mungia told Lifewire via email. "With its hidden trackpad, low-profile keyboard, and sleek, low-carbon aluminum construction, Dell's new XPS 13 Plus makes everything as simple as possible, but the question remains: Is it too simple?"
If you’re looking for an ultraportable Windows laptop, it’s hard to argue with this cool new Dell. I mean, just look at it. It’s a beauty and will fit in any bag or backpack without you even realizing it.
