In preparation for the release of The Final Shape, Destiny 2 will be experiencing an extended period of downtime for maintenance. That’s to be expected, The Final Shape is going to be one big expansion and the more maintenance we get the better. While I can’t help you with what to do during that downtime, I can at least let you know when it will be down and how long it will be out.

According to an in-game notification I received today, Destiny 2 will be completely unavailable to play for 25 hours starting on June 3rd and running through June 4th. If you’ve been counting down the hours and can’t wait to get back in, we have a guide on how to check the down status for yourself.
The start times for the maintenance period on June 3 are as follows: PDT – 09:00AMDT – 10:00AMCDT – 11:00AMDT – 12:00PMBST – 5:00PM
The end times for the maintenance period on June 4 are as follows: PDT – 10:00AMMMDT – 11:00AMCDT – 12:00PMEDT – 13:00PMBST – 18:00PM
