Titans have felt left behind in Destiny 2 since the release of the Final Shape expansion, and Bungie is addressing this issue by bolstering two Titan superheroes.

DOUBLE Exotic Class Items, Titan BUFFS & 120 Scout BUFF (Update 8.0.5) | Destiny 2 The Final Shape

In a livestream on July 9 and a weekly blog post on July 11, the developer revealed several balancing changes coming to Destiny 2 in early August, including a buff to two Titan supers: Twilight Arsenal and Hammer of Sol. The buff increases both supers’ damage against bosses and minibosses, making them more powerful.

Of the three classes in Destiny 2, Titans feel underwhelming compared to Hunters, who dominate the damage leaderboards with Celestial Nighthawk, and Warlocks, who offer a more versatile kit. Players have noted that Titans are a “dead weight” during the Salvation’s Edge raid race, largely because they don’t have many decent ranged super options.

This buff is apparently there to address that issue and make the only ranged supers Titans have in their arsenal more viable. It feels a little odd that Bungie decided to leave Thundercrash out. While you can't hit The Witness with Superman in Salvation's Edge, players on Reddit agreed on July 11 that it should be the Titan's highest damage super with the lowest cooldown.
