There's less than three weeks until launch, but details about Destiny 2's The Final Shape expansion are becoming clearer by the day.

Bungie previewed the massive patch update coming to Destiny 2: The Final Shape in a few weeks in a new blog post today, along with some major changes coming to the expansion's weapon tuning.
To compensate for the removal of Spec mods such as Boss Spec, Taken Spec, Minor Spec, Major Spec and more, the base damage of PvE against all fighters in The Final Shape will be increased by several increments.
Buffs include 20 percent damage increase for pulse rifles, 10 percent damage increase for pellet shotguns, nine percent damage increase for slug shotguns, and seven percent damage increase for fusion rifles, sniper rifles, and glaive projectiles, among others. There are some exceptions, such as certain exotics, but generally weapons will hit slightly harder than before.
