In addition to the Prismatic subclass, The Final Shape added a new Light super for every class in Destiny 2, and one of them is already dominating PvP.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape | Storm's Edge Preview – New Hunter Super
In The Final Shape, Hunters gained a Storm's Edge super that allows them to blink from point A to point B, damaging enemies around them in a split second, up to three times. While Storm's Edge is average in PvE, it leaves no one standing in PvP and can easily take out Guardians in one hit. On June 5, Destiny 2 players on Reddit unanimously called for the super to be "neutered."
“You need to be able to react to the hunter using the knife at lightning speed and even then they will likely have your exact position pinpointed even if the knife isn’t even close,” one player wrote in the post.
If a Hunter activates their super while you’re in their sights, you’re as good as dead. While the same could be said for every super in Destiny 2, the fact that it has three charges and no possible counter makes it incredibly frustrating to play against. Additionally, many players report getting hit through walls and cover with Storm’s Edge.
