In the second main mission of the Final Shape expansion, you’re presented with a puzzle and not much information on how to solve it. It’s a fun puzzle and not too difficult, but for anyone new to the game, it can be a tough puzzle as it doesn’t explain one of the core mechanics very well. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered with this guide.
KHVOSTOV EXOTIC SECRET QUEST GUIDE & All Traveler Collectibles (Requires Legendary Khvostov)
In the second mission of the Final Shape campaign, you're asked to align three dials to gain access to a spooky cave that the always insufferable Uldren Sov "Crow" has thrown himself into. Solving one of these will give you all the information you need to solve the rest, so there's not much to remember.
To solve these clock face puzzles, you’ll need to move the clock face to various glowing spots around the perimeter (one for the first, two for the second, three for the third). You do this by interacting with the black console you can see in the images above and below, but you’ll notice that it says that it requires ‘Psionic Insight’. Psionic Insight is obtained by finding and killing the helpfully named ‘Insight Psions’. Normally, two of them will spawn in the relative area of each puzzle, but you may have to search the area a bit to find them or force them to spawn.
Now here's an important bit, killing one Psion gives you one stack of the Psionic Insight buff, and they stack. That means if you kill two, you get two. This is important because the amount of Psionic Insight you have directly correlates to how many notches the hand on the clock face will move. So if you only need to move one space, you only need one stack of the buff. So as you can see in the example image, you need two stacks of the buff, and you need to rotate the clock face counterclockwise.
