It wouldn't be a definitive endgame activity in Destiny 2 if players weren't already taking it apart within days of release and making it look like a piece of cake.
Why timer breaks are allowed in Destiny speedruns #destiny2 #speedrun
Salvation's Edge, the newest raid in Destiny 2's The Final Shape DLC, released less than two weeks ago, and players can already speedrun it faster than it took any team to complete the first confrontation on opening day.
It took the world’s first team 19 hours to complete the raid on day one, and now the record for the speedrun stands at just over 25 minutes. And that number will easily drop over time, but for now the run is still a sight to behold.
The latest run was uploaded by raid speedrunner Vortex and their team. It's a fun watch for anyone who has played and struggled with Salvation's Edge. Which is basically everyone.
