Device Manager is empty and shows nothing in Windows 11/10

I recently had a problem where I opened my Device Manager and it was empty! There was nothing! Just empty! It was very strange and it took me a while to figure out what the problem was!

If Device Manager is completely empty, there are two possibilities why the problem is occurring: either a critical Windows service has been disabled or your permissions in the registry for the Device Manager key are corrupted.

To resolve this issue, enable the appropriate Windows service or change its permissions in the registry.
