Blizzard's latest entry in the long-running series launched to much fanfare in June 2023, but Diablo 4 has struggled to retain players long-term despite the introduction of new seasonal content and major changes.

The latest season, Season of Loot, doesn't feature as many major introductions as previous seasons, which introduced Malignant Hearts and vampire powers, but it does deliver a number of quality improvements.

In Season Four, the Code of Power was overhauled. Players can now upgrade an Aspect when it is extracted, and all Aspects are now included in the Codex of Power. This makes the feature much more streamlined.
