With the fiery hell of the endgame, you can tackle the Fields of Hatred, or PvP zones, in Diablo 4 as an optional feature. While you can farm XP by defeating the Nightmare dungeons and elite mobs, the PvP mode in D4 can help you earn a lot of rewards. These include various horse cosmetics, armor, trophies, and more powerful rewards for grinding on the Fields of Hatred. While many Diablo players criticize this mode for being broken or unbalanced, it is the only way to earn Seeds of Hatred (and Red Dust). But for those players who have beaten the campaign, understanding PvP can be a bit confusing. Don't worry, check out our guide that explains everything about D4's PvP mode and how it works.

There are two PvP zones in Diablo 4 that you can find marked as red areas on the map. These PvP zones, the Fields of the Hatred, are located in Alzuuda near the Dry Steppes and Denshar near the Kehjistan zones. While you don’t need to complete the campaign to participate in the PvP mode, it can still be a pain in the ass if you come across players with their best endgame builds.

The recommended level to enter both PvP zones is 50, so we recommend passing level 50 in D4 before entering PvP mode.

Once you enter the Fields of Hatred in Diablo 4, you will be able to attack players, enemies, and elite mobs in PvP mode. The goal here is to farm as many Seeds of Hatred as possible. Then destroy these Seeds to refine them into Red Dust.
