Diablo 4 Season 5 goes live on the Public Test Realm (PTR) servers on June 25, and with the arrival of the new update comes all of the season’s associated patch notes.

Blizzard released the early patch preview for this upcoming season on June 21st. These notes include quality-of-life updates, new weapons and items, and a bunch of class changes. While all of these changes are being tested on the PTR, they may differ from what actually rolls out when the season hits live servers.
These are the patch notes for Diablo 4 Season 5 for now.
Each season of Diablo 4 introduces a new mode or activity, and the new activity for season five is Infernal Hordes, which is essentially a Diablo roguelike. You must brave countless waves, earn boons, and defeat the final boss to earn the spoils of war. The difficulty increases with each of the eight Tiers, with more waves being added.
