Because not everyone likes this feature

In an earlier post I wrote about why Windows may not show thumbnail previews of taskbars by default, but instead just a text list.

However, if you have thumbnail previews enabled in Windows, you will see actual screenshots of the open programs or windows when you hover your mouse over the icon.

Unfortunately, not everyone likes this! If you are used to a simple list, this will be very annoying. Some users are more visual and others are not. In this article, I will tell you the different ways to disable thumbnail previews in the taskbar.
