How Dishsoap Became the TFT World Champion
The first Tactician's Crown World Championship featured the newly formed Americas region, a pan-region with NA, BR, and LATAM. North America had high hopes for the World Championship, with veterans Socks, Dishsoap, Pockygom, and Wasianiverson earning seeds at the Golden Spatula tournament.
North American players started the TFT Tactician's Crown World Championship strong, with Dishsoap and Socks in the top four of the standings after six games played on day one. Pockygom and Wasianiverson were also in the top eight. But day two was full of low-rolls, with Dishsoap being the only player from the Americas region to make it into the top eight after finishing eighth in three games in a row.
Most players give up after finishing eighth for three games in a row, but not Dishsoap. They won a lobby in game five to earn a chance at a top eight spot, and a second place finish in game six on day two, earning them sixth place.
