Both examples are popular mechanics from different generations of titles and can hold their own against things like Mega Evolution, which is featured in the mobile title.
Niantic recently hinted in an interview with Eurogamer that Gigantamax Pokémon would eventually come to Pokémon Go, but when asked about Z-Moves and Gigantamax in Pokémon Go by Dot Esports at Go Fest Madrid on June 14, Steranka was more candid about the mechanic's addition.
"We don't have anything specific to share on that front right now," Steranka told Dot Esports. "But what I do want to share is, you know, it all comes back to the Pokemon universe. We're taking a lot of inspiration from the main series games and a lot of the things that we're building in Pokemon Go."
