Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO marks Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft’s return to the previously dormant Budokai Tenkaichi series that fans have been waiting 15 years for. And while this new entry may look different than the classic titles from the 2000s, the wait for more controller-busting beam battles will be shorter.
DRAGON BALL SPARKING ZERO HAS A RELEASE DATE
Sparking! ZERO gameplay got a spotlight at The Game Awards 2023 with its first gameplay trailer, and players are counting down the days to the game’s release as Freiza on Planet Namek. And, after that brief showcase, we might finally have a general idea of when more news about the ultimate DB battle will be coming.
In the final trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO at Summer Games Fest 2024, Bandai Namco revealed an October 11 release date, with the game releasing at midnight local time on consoles and 12 noon CT on PC.
The game is available to pre-order on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, with no Switch release in sight just yet. While those systems launch worldwide on October 11, you can play three days early before anyone else by purchasing the pricey Deluxe Edition of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO.
