The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring brought in a ton of new items to create different types of builds. To do this, we’ve put together what we think is the best Dragon Warrior build in Elden Ring.
I TRIED THE "MOST BROKEN GREATSWORD" OF ELDEN RING IN SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE 1.13 New OP Build Guide!
We're using the Dragon Form that you can get from the Domain of Dragons Painting puzzle, so you won't be able to use any armor here. The Dragon Form also gives a boost to your physical damage negation, so it'll be very useful when fighting enemies in the base game and the DLC.
For the main weapon, we’re going to be using a maxed-out Dragon Hunter’s Great Katana, which you can get by defeating the Ancient-Dragon Man at the Dragon’s Pit east of Gravesite. It does a ton of damage to all sorts of enemies, especially dragons (while also causing some bleed). Additionally, its fast Dragonwound Slash ability is devastating, taking out most large enemies in two or three uses. There are other weapons that would work well with this build, but this Great Katana is fast, and its weapon ability essentially kills enemies in one shot.
Other right-hand weapons we recommend are the Blasphemous Blade (defeated by Rykard in Volcano Manor) and the Spear of the Impaler (defeated by Messmer in Shadow Keep), since we're going with the fire theme. Both weapons have overwhelming abilities and deal a ton of damage. It's highly recommended to get the Blasphemous Blade to start this build, since the Dragon Hunter's Great Katana and Spear of the Impaler will be very hard to come by early in the DLC.
