DRAKE HAS RELEASED 3 NEW SONGS AGAIN!!! (NO FACE, SOD, CIRCADIAN RHYTHM) – REACTION
Just before the weekend hit, Drake surprisingly released three songs including “Circadian Rhythm,” “SOD,” and “No Face” featuring Playboi Carti via his Instagram account @plottttwistttttt.
Fans may recognize “SOD” as “Supersoak,” a track that streamer Kai Cenat premiered last month and initially featured a verse from Lil Yachty. Even before its official release, it caused trouble after Yachty attempted to remove a sample from Mr. HotSpot that was on the track, but was denied use unless the rapper made a clean version of the song that suited his religious beliefs. Now, Yachty has been removed from the track entirely ahead of its official release. Some fans have suspected that trouble had been brewing between the two in recent weeks after they noticed that Yachty had unfollowed Drake on Instagram.
In addition to “SOD,” anyone aware of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud might find a connection between “Circadian Rhythm” and Lamar’s diss track “6:16 in LA.” Some have already suggested that Drake was inspired to name his most recent song after a line from “6:16 in LA” where Lamar raps, “Often I know this type of power comes at a price / But I’m livin’ in circadian rhythms of a shooting star.”
