#DRIVE Rally, the sequel to Pixel Perfect Dude's mobile favorite #DRIVE, has announced a release date and the game will be here sooner than you might think.

#DRIVE Rally, which was announced a while ago, has finally had a release date revealed at the Gamescom Awesome Indies Showcase, and it’s coming in just over a month on September 25th. Inspired by the pop culture of the late 80s and early 90s, #DRIVE Rally is all about driving, mud, more driving, and taking some serious but fair criticism from a likely underpaid co-driver.
This is only the second time the team behind the game has released something for platforms other than mobile and Switch (the other being the VR version of their mobile game Ski Jump), which #DRIVE Rally will not be appearing on, notably. #DRIVE Rally is also coming to a bunch of platforms, including Steam (including Steam Deck), GOG, the Epic Games Store, and it’s even coming to macOS and Linux-based systems (via Steam only), which is great news for all you serious nerds out there.
The game is, oddly enough, an arcade rally racing game, but it has the aesthetic appeal of something like Pacific Drive as opposed to the gritty realism of EA’s WRC. There’ll be plenty to play at launch too, with up to 24 tracks across each of four settings, 12 unique vehicles with loads of variation, four championships, and even four fully voiced co-drivers to tell you what a terrible job you’re doing.
