Snap, the people behind Snapchat, have created a selfie drone that might just be as annoying as a needy wasp.

Drones. Good: Rescues, great production-value-adding aerial shots in TV and movies. Bad: Remote warfare, creepy peeping tom action, annoying to anyone who doesn’t own one. But Snap’s $250 Pixy has some serious advantages, as far as annoying goes. First, it’s small and cute. And second, it’s designed for ultra-short flights only, up to 20 seconds at a time.
"The drone's flight is primarily intended for automated maneuvers, meaning users don't have to worry about controlling the drone. This also means the Snapchat drone can't fly long distances, as it's primarily intended for short selfie flights," drone specialist and on-call firefighter James Leslie told Lifewire via email.
"The Snapchat drone's short flight time won't allow users to fly long distances, meaning users won't be able to take photos or videos of large areas. The drone wouldn't be very useful for those looking for traditional aerial photography."
