The reMarkable 2 E-ink tablet was designed to make handwriting easier, but now the gadget is going all out with typing improvements.
reMarkable 2 vs iPad Pro: How to Choose in 2024
First up, the company just announced its own keyboard for the reMarkable 2, called the Type Folio. This is the first time the tablet line has supported a keyboard, and it's designed with this specific gadget in mind. The Type Folio is thin and sturdy, but still offers full-size letter keys, number keys, function keys, and more.
This keyboard is also designed to automatically connect to the reMarkable 2 tablet via magnets. No extra pairing, charging, updating, or fiddling with different ports is required.
The tablet's user interface gets a refresh to support the keyboard, with minimalist formatting options that let you easily switch between handwriting and typing.
