EA Sports College Football 25 is set to release later this month, and in the lead-up to it, the developers have been sharing a number of in-depth videos.
College Football 25 | Dynasty Deep Dive
Two previous videos delved deeper into the new and improved audio and visual flares added to this game, as well as discussing various aspects of the gameplay. And today, the latest deep dive is into the game’s Dynasty mode.
Dynasty looks set to be a popular mode for players, with a similar system featured in games like Madden 23's Franchise Mode. Other available modes include Road To Glory, College Football Ultimate Team, and Road To The College Football Playoff. In Dynasty, players take control of someone at a level of the team management process, recruiting players and employing strategies that lead their teams to glory. For players more familiar with fantasy football, this premise may sound familiar, but EA Sports College Football 25 aims to take a decidedly more in-depth look at the idea.
In College Football 25’s Dynasty mode, players can start out as a head coach or as an offensive or defensive coordinator. The game will feature changes made to the way college football is played in real life, with a 12-team playoff system in place. Players can recruit new teammates for their teams from a board of available picks. Investigating player stats and motivations will be crucial, with brand recognition, playing time, and even academic prestige playing a role in whether a player is a good fit for a team. In-game, coaches can recruit players from high school or through the transfer portal.
