These new financial details come from EA’s 2024 Annual Meeting and Proxy Statement (courtesy of Game Developer), which details the company’s annual net bookings and compensation structure, among other details. Most notable is the $60 million cumulatively raised by EA executives in a year plagued by staff layoffs.
Of the EA luminaries, Andrew Wilson was the top earner, followed by Laura Miele, who is president of EA Entertainment, Technology and Central Development. Miele earned $12 million last year.
These numbers are in stark contrast to the $148,704 compensation the average worker receives. For comparison, CEO Wilson made 172 times more than the average EA employee. And that’s without taking into account the underpaid contractors that companies like EA don’t recognize as real employees.
