Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Quick Guide to Making Bubbles (400k in 30min!)
The fastest way to make money in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is to sell items at Re-Tail. Re-Tail is the town’s recycling store/flea market. You can sell most of the items you collect at Re-Tail for a higher price than you would get at the Nooklings’ store. Re-Tail is also more convenient to visit, since it’s in your town, while the Nooklings’ store is on Main Street. That said, the owner will charge you a small fee to get rid of any trash, including tires, shoes, and the fake Crazy Redd paintings (which you can keep for your own house if you prefer).
The Nooklings' Store on Main Street sells fortune cookies, most of which contain a prize ticket for a Nintendo-related item (e.g. Super Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, etc.). These items are fun to collect if you're a fan of Nintendo trinkets, but they're also valuable, so consider selling your Nintendo toys if you win any.
Fortune cookies are purchased with Play Coins, which you earn by walking around with your Nintendo 3DS. In other words, you can put the system to sleep mode and take it with you while you run errands to get as many Play Coins as you need.
