How to Check Hardware Information in Ubuntu 16.04 | 18.04 | 20.04
If you want to know the details of your PC's hardware, there is a simple graphical application called GNOME Device Manager in Ubuntu 10.04 that lets you view the technical details of your computer's hardware.
To install GNOME Device Manager, select Administration | Synaptic Package Manager from the System menu.
If you have never used Synaptic Package Manager before, or if you have cleared the Show this dialog at startup check box, the Quick Introduction dialog box will appear. If you do not want to see this dialog box again, make sure that the Show this dialog at startup check box is cleared. Click Close to continue.
