The Elden Ring DLC difficulty debate has been a hot topic lately, and it's not hard to see why.

The DLC is hard, much harder than the base game, and at least for me, harder than anything FromSoftware has ever released. But to be clear, this is not a "git gud" piece. I'm not here to tell anyone that I think the DLC is actually super easy and that you can't do it, because that is neither true nor fair.
What I do think is that the difficulty of the DLC is fine as it is.
In the interest of total transparency, I have to admit something. Shortly after the DLC launched, I came across Rellana. And I thought, in a moment of bitter frustration, the one thing I swore I would never do.
