The wait for the long awaited Elden Ring DLC is almost over, the game came out 2 years ago and it's been over a year since they announced they were developing Shadow of the Erdtree. In typical From Software tradition, they had already mentioned the name and we didn't get any hints on when we could expect to play it until recently. And with it being the GOTY of 2022 and having a huge following, fans everywhere had clues about the expansion and are still hunting them down. So here's what we know so far about the DLC release date and what to expect from it.

One of the biggest clues as to when the DLC is supposed to release is that it's supposed to release sometime in February 2024. Thanks to Reddit user u/ChiefLeef22 for sharing, you can check out their thread here. Elden Ring has basically been working with Thrustmaster on a controller for the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The controller is supposed to release with the DLC. So that's what leads to this speculation.
