ELEGOO announced the new Saturn 4 line of resin 3D printers on Monday. The two new printers, the Saturn 4 and Saturn 4 Ultra, bring several improvements to 3D printing, including new AI print monitoring capabilities (in the Saturn 4 Ultra model), faster speeds, auto-leveling, and more.
There are a few differences between the models. While they both offer a larger print size, the Saturn 4 Ultra has a maximum print speed of 150mm/h, while the Saturn 4 prints at 70mm/h. The Saturn 4 Ultra also has tilt-release technology, which makes it easier to remove the finished print.
The Saturn 4 Ultra also has AI monitoring capabilities not available on the lower-end Saturn 4. Using the AI camera intelligent detection, you can monitor your print and print status in real time. This allows you to make adjustments to the print as needed, and you can create time-lapse videos of the print in progress.
