The Best Soundbar Is No Soundbar – Enclave Cinehome Pro Review
The Enclave Audio CineHome aims to take the tedium and stress out of wiring a surround sound system by eliminating those cumbersome cord runs and instead syncing your speakers via wireless connections. The allure of a wireless home is a siren song for many: wires, cables, and cords of all kinds are an eyesore and a frequent point of failure. Unfortunately, that glorious wireless future, at least in the case of the CineHome, isn’t quite here yet.
The CineHome stands out with its attractive minimalist design. The speakers are matt black and in a dark room they almost disappear into the shadows. This unobtrusive style is consistent with the driving philosophy of the CineHome: to get rid of long cables, eliminate the difficult installation process and smooth out the intrusive look of many speakers that all too often clash with the decor of a room. Aesthetically, the CineHome is a great success.
The speakers are made of sturdy, non-reflective black plastic that could almost be mistaken for aluminum in both look and feel. The front is covered in a fine mesh that blends in almost seamlessly with the rest of the speaker from a distance. Each is equipped with a power adapter jack, reset button, and status indicator light.
